Red Stripe Garage LLC was formed in September 2024. However, the garage conversion to a woodshop was started in the spring of 2023.

That would be my very first build for the workshop, my worktable. It has since morphed into more of a storage table with drawers and a work surface that is used for small project work.

There are a few things that come to mind, not just one. First it is the creative expression, mixing and matching wood species in order to create a one-of-a-kind piece. Next it would be the mental stimulation. Working with wood requires that problems be solved, even when working from a set of plans, there is always something with wood that can throw things off track. Finally, the satisfaction of delivering a completed project to someone who will have the chance to enoy what I had made for years to come with their family and friends.
